West African peanut sauce
Ingredients for 2 people
150 g waxy potatoes, cut into large pieces or sweet potato
100 g carrots in large pieces
200 g braised beef or lamb
4 blanched okrashots
¼ Red onion in strips
1 pc red chilli pepper in rings
1 glassPeanut mustard sauce + 2 tbsp
1 teaspoon carrot chili sauce (optional)
Salt pepper
preparation
1-Peanut mustard sauce Put the contents of the glass in a saucepan, fill the glass twice with water and add to it. Stir well and bring to the boil for 5 minutes.
2- Add the potatoes, carrots and meat to the boiling sauce, simmer for 10 minutes until the potatoes and carrots are cooked through.
3- Add 2 tablespoons of peanut mustard sauce, chilli pepper and onions, simmer for another 2 minutes - season with salt and pepper. Garnish with okrashots and serve with rice.
